The Business Operations Analyst works under the direction of the MHS Pharmacy Department and the Director of Pharmacy Supply Chain and 340B and is responsible for providing ad-hoc and ongoing reporting and analysis services related to the value (i.e. outcomes related to cost) of medication use across the MHS pharmacy enterprise. This analyst will be responsible for financial and data analysis of drug purchasing and utilization to help identify opportunities for pharmacy improvement and cost savings. The Analyst participates in predictive analysis by using internal and external processes, databases, interfaces, and decision support systems to provide analyses resulting in improvements in operations, medication utilization and purchasing. Creates, maintains, and optimizes key reporting metrics related to pharmaceutical purchases and use.Minimum Requirements:
Two (2) years of experience leading large, diverse, complex data analytics-based projects
Two (2) years of experience with Excel advanced functions (index, conditional lists, arrays, pivots, lookups)]; Data Modeling, and PowerPivot preferred
Experience in information systems or database design.
Experience with medication and/or health care related data preferred
Experience utilizing SQL preferredEducation/Licenses/Certifications:
Post-secondary program completion; equivalent related experience or combination of coursework and experience may be considered in lieu of education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or Healthcare Administration preferred
Associate Tableau Certification preferred
Epic certification in Clarity and/or Willow applications; Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel certifications preferred
